Meek is the Chief Learning Officer at the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO), where he has dedicated his career to the advancement of adult learning and performance improvement for professionals involved in the business and auxiliary aspects of public schools. With over eight years at TASBO, Jason has played a crucial role in elevating the professional development landscape for school business professionals across Texas, organizing hundreds of high-caliber training events and workshops.
An expert in adult learning theories and instructional design, Jason effectively applies the ADDIE model to create engaging and practical educational experiences. His initiatives include a broad range of formats, such as instructor-led training, virtual learning, and hybrid events, each tailored to enhance the operational and strategic capabilities of administrative staff.
Under Jason's leadership, TASBO’s events have consistently been praised for their exceptional quality and the comprehensive support provided to both guest speakers and participants. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Reiner Martens started to work at NM PED in January 2020 as the Deputy Director of the School Budget and Analysis Bureau at the New Mexico Public Education Department. He was selected as the Director of the Education Finance Analysis Bureau in August 2021. He is currently responsible for setting capital outlay and debt service mill levy rates, reporting to the federal government NPEFS and F33 statistics, calculating the at-risk index, and supporting OBMS developments. Since he started to work at NM PED, he has strived to improve and innovate its operation, e.g., all OpBuds forms were updated, and the OBMS estimated and projected cash modules were implemented. Earlier in his career, he was a teacher in New Mexico, the CEO of a trading company and manufacturing company in Mexico, he worked for Mercedes-Benz and as an IT-Consultant for Accenture in Germany.
He received his Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico and his engineering degree from the Technical University of Berlin. Now being an empty nester, he likes to play chess in his free time.

Mr. Sallee has worked for the Legislative Finance Committee since 2005 conducting and overseeing program evaluations of state agencies, higher education, and public schools. He also conducted evaluations for the Texas Legislature at the Sunset Commission. Some of his work has led to major policy changes or cost savings in the areas of Medicaid, higher education, adult and juvenile corrections, public schools, and workers compensation. He also has experience providing direct human services, including to people with developmental disabilities and abused children. Mr. Sallee grew up in New Mexico and earned a BSW from New Mexico State University and MSW-Administration from Texas State University-San Marcos.
