This session will discuss operational expenditures not related to salary and benefits. Typically, salary and benefits make up roughly 85% of your operational budget, which leaves only 15% for all other operational costs related to operating a school district or charter. We will also discuss best practices for budget review, forecasting expenditures, and the budget checklist. Don’t forget to double-check your numbers before you submit your budget to the Public Education Department.
